xBuyBuzz for Square Merchants (beta)

BuyBuzz is a free platform for Square merchants to promote their products to local shoppers. It showcases 5 of your Square orders each day to nearby shoppers – and with a tap, they land on your website or Square site.

BuyBuzz provides added exposure to Square merchants whether a restaurant, a food truck, a CBD shop, an artist, or any type of business using Square’s POS.

How does it work?

BuyBuzz is a Square “integration”. Via your Square account, you authorize BuyBuzz to publicly display 5 orders a day (each with a photo, description, and link to your website). You do it once and then it’s automatic each day. You can de-authorize at any time.

BuyBuzz accesses only the small sample of orders that it displays. It does not store all your orders nor does it access your customers’ info or payment details.

To get started:

1. Download Apple’s TestFlight app. That’s needed to allow installation of the BuyBuzz beta.
2. Download BuyBuzz on your iPhone or iPad. This is a beta release and so the link page will also have info on installing it via Apple’s TestFlight app..
3. Open BuyBuzz and tap on the top “Merchants” link and register a free account.
4. Connect your Square POS account (also via the same Merchant link). If you have more than one location, select the location(s) you want to showcase.
5. That’s it. Each day, BuyBuzz will randomly select 5 orders from your Square orders and for each will post it photos, description, price, time of purchase and a link to your website.

If at anytime you want to showcase more than 5 orders a day, you can purchase Tier 2 or Tier 3 below.
